As an independent consultant/director of Scentsy, I sometimes forgot what it is for our new Scentsy customers. I keep hearing questions like, how long will my wax last? Where do I have any wax? How do I clean my plate? Where can I? I see other tireless candles in the store, but the label doesn't say SCENTSY... You sell SCENTSY in stores? What about replacement bulbs? Here are some helpful tips to help our new Scentsy customers enjoy in-depth their new Scentsy products. Intro Where can I buy Scentsy? There is much more, but the best way to find out more is Mary Gregory Selling aromas at Holiday BoutiqueOrder Scentsy here with Mary Gregory Hello! My name is Mary Gregory and I am an independent consultant Scentsy/Director. Before I found Scentsy, I loved the perfumed candles. Of course the candles are quite pleasant, but they are also a fire hazard. When I finally discovered Scentsy flameless candles in 2008, I left and became a consultant. You can order all your Scentsy products here with me. Simply click or tap any product in our store and will be redirected to my official Scentsy store to place an order. I sincerely appreciate the opportunity to be your Scentsy consultant and committed to helping you, for life! Mary. Warmer Setup Step-by-Step Instructions to Set a Standard Size Watch The instructions below apply to our authentic Scentsy heaters, traditional table-top. Today, some of our new heaters have multiple parts and pieces that we will cover later in separate positions. Setting up a heater is simple and self-explanatory. Instructions for Setting Up a Mini WarmerSetting a hotter night or mini light is quite simple but we have special. It also includes how to convert one to a table heater. Video Instructions for Mini Warmer Settings Because sometimes there is confusion about the different mini heaters or nightlight heaters, I asked my husband Pete to make this instructive video. How much do I go for use? How much vague should be used in Warmers Scentsy? The wax quantities you will need will vary depending on the size of the heater and the size of your room. First, see your Scentsy Bar and note that each bar contains eight small buckets of perfumed wax. For small night heaters or mini heaters, you only need a bucket at a time. Most people use night heaters in the exits on counters or small rooms like a bathroom. You just need to use a small bucket at once, and some customers even cut the bucket and use half at a time. If you have a medium or hoter size, we usually suggest you two cubes at once, at most! Try a bucket, then one and a half and see how it goes. Some fragrances are stronger than others, so it is better to experience and see what works best. You will see many photos showing heaters with 3 or 4 wax cubes, but we advise you to ignore those. Remember, more wax isn't always better. Try to experience to determine what your favorite fragrance works for your home. Often you can get using less wax than one might think. Wax Life Span How long will my perfumed wax last? It's important to understand how odor wax works, so we've done everything we can to explain below. First, the wax will not evaporate or dissipate. Each single wax cube will continue to provide a fragrance of between 10 and 20 hours. If you put two cubes or more, it won't last anymore, and that's why we suggest you start with less. Once you put wax on the plate and heat, the watch starts to mark. In addition, the duration of the time will be careful, depending on the fragrance. Some really last longer than others. I've heard reports from my clients saying that they actually have 40 to 50 hours of a bucket and a half. This is amazing and not the norm! A Scentsy bar contains eight cubes. If you get 15 hours of each bucket, a full Scentsy bar will give 120 hours of fragrance. Considering the price, it's a lot of a deal, especially when compared to a perfumed candle! You can also call me or send me a message and I'm happy to help you choose. Mary 661-210-7617. I am also very active on facebook and you can find my Facebook page Scentsy going to Facebook and searching for facebook.com/meltawax. Change of wave How to change the wax and how to clean the dish?3 Examples of Scentsy Fragrance Delivery Systems If you don't want to spend the money on it, follow the suggestions below to remove the wax. So I clean my heaters. Nightlights & Mini Warmers For the hottest little night light or mini, it is better to turn off the heater and let the wax cool for a few minutes. Once the hottest is safe to play and the wax starts to harden, simply unplug the warmest and empty the soft wax in a trash can, using a paper or tissue towel. Just clean the dish with a towel and you're ready to put in a new wax cube. Standard table heaters For larger table heaters, it is much easier. It's still better to wait a few minutes to cool. First, turn off the heater and wait until it cools down. Once you can handle it safely, lift the dish from the top of the heater and empty it in a trash can. Then just clean the dish with a paper tower and you're ready. Place the dish again in the hottest and start your new wax heating. Battery fittings Battery heaters use odor capsules and do NOT use wax, so there is no cleaning. You can take a look at it. Light bulbs Scentsy Light bulb Tips15, 20 and 25 watts Scentsy spare bulbs. Bulb Sizing ChartKeep in mind, not all Scentsy warmer uses a lighthouse. We also carry and of course there is no light bulb for them. In addition, there is no replacement of items available. The 15 watt bulbs for small Scentsy night light heaters can be very difficult to find, but you can find the 20 watt medium size bulb, and the 25 watt full size bulb, almost anywhere. Small night light bulbs are small bulbs, similar to the type of antique light bulbs used in Christmas trees, but you need 15 watts! Most of the bulbs that are formed like the light bulbs of the night are of a lower stage. Don't waste your money by buying a low-power replacement bulb. The light bulb for your night heater MUST be the same light bulb that came with your heater, but 15 watts. Lower bulbs won't keep your wax melted. We suggest buying a couple replacement bulbs next time you buy more wax. He in our home tends to last six months to a year, but we use heaters often. Like any other light bulb in our house, we keep parts in hand, so we always have one when we need it. We carry a variety of hotter bulbsNEW BULBS - FYI, now we have light bulbs in various colors. There is also a larger bulb for certain heaters. Scentsy Replacements & Accessories Available We carry many spare parts Scentsy, accessories and even replacement dishes for your heaters. It rarely happens, but if you break a plate or a lid, we can have a replacement. There are also warmer supports available in the square design and circle you might want. Set up a Flashlight or Mini Warmer Setting up a nightlight or a mini-warming is quite simple, but we have a hottest mini special page with a video with instructions. It also includes how to convert one to a table heater. Be safe and divert Warmer at the end of the day Treat your heaters like any other desk or table lamp. Like a lamp, light bulbs and smell heaters warm up. The more you use them, the less life is left in the bulbs or elements. It's a good practice when you finish your heater during the day, turn off the switch. You can leave the wax on the plate, let it harden, and use it again next time. We hope to have provided you with the useful tips to help you enjoy your Scentsy Warmers. We encourage you to contact us directly or leave a comment and we will respond promptly. Mary Gregory 661-210-7617 49 Do I have to disconnect my great warmth every night or can I let it light for several days at a time? I really like the smell of the house and I like to use the light as nightlight for my family. Please respond by e-mail as to whether you do not reach this site normally. Hi, Wendy! You can leave your big heater on as long as you want! Remember, many authentic Scentsy double candle heaters like a nightlight or a small lamp and can be treated like any other lamp. Note, however, the fragrance emitted from its warmest will only last so long, and it often depends on what perfumed wax fragrance you are using. Typically, my husband and I like to change our wax every 24 hours or so. That means the longer you keep warming, the sooner you'll have to. In addition, simply attach any other lamp, the more you use it, the more often bulbs will have to be replaced. Your comment comes at a good time to remind our visitors, the perfumed wax does not evaporate. We have had contact with some customers about the frequency with which they should replace their wax and the simple answer is, when their wax stops emitting that wonderful aromatic fragrance. Although you can see the wax on the plate, if it has been used for more than 3 days, it is probably time to replace the wax! BTW, the best way to buy wax is to Combine and Save. You can get six Scentsy Bars for just $30, so it's like getting a free bar! We hope we answered your question and we encourage everyone to leave their comments, and we're happy to answer! Hugs, Mary Gregory How can I get red wax out of my lace ceramic wall heater. The outside. Hey, Susie, this is tough! I guess you tried to scratch the place while the wax is dry to see if the wax will crumble in it. If that didn't work, I could try to heat the wax and wipe the wax with a paper towel. You could try to use a dryer to heat the area. Be patient with this as you can have to go through the process repeatedly to do the job. Once the wax is removed, you may need to tear it with alcohol. If it is a very small place, you may want to use a q point. Good luck! I can't remember if my heater is a medium size or full size. It's leopard printing style, but I'm not sure what bulb to buy and can't find anything from line reference. Do you know the size of this warmer style? Hey, Chelsea. The Leopard Scentsy Warmer was a full-size luxury watch and takes a 25 watt Bulb. You can see for yourself the bulb size chart here on our website. Here's the link. Just scroll under the bulbs and you will see a box of bronzed color to click. It says "See the bulb size box to confirm its size." I really like Leopard Warmer and I hope our information will help. Hugs,MaryWas cleaning my heater, and apparently there was a leak somehow, now there's wax in the light bulb shot. Am I able to clean it, or will I have to get a new hotter? Thank you! VWow Victoria! You're a little fixed. The first thing you want to do is, of course, disconnect your warmth. I've never really had this, but I'm thinking maybe I'd try to use my dryer to heat the inside of the heater. Then try to break the wax with a paper towel. Fixing the paper towel inside the shot could be difficult, so you may have to test by experimenting with using a Q tip. I think it could be done, and you must be able to avoid. Good luck and please come back and share your results! Mary Gregory Scentsy Independent Consultant Congela hotter a wax comes out so easy. Frost can work, but it is faster to use cotton balls. If it is the type of dishless heater to remove, I usually use the cotton balls. If it's a removable dish, just empty in the trash. I have the sugar skull, I can leave the lid on it while it's on. The lid has holes. You can leave the lid in this particular heater. Enjoy what wax lasts 40-50 hours Hello Sarah, I guess we missed by answering your comment. My husband used in his office and went mad for a long-lasting fragrance. Use about 1 1/2 cubes per week and is in your office about 50 hours per week. He says that when he opens the door to his office on Friday morning, he can still smell the smell he put on the hottest Monday morning. For me, when I melted around a bucket every 20 to 30 hours. Some fragrances last longer than others and you just have to experience. I bought a wax heater from the sale of my granddaughter. The bulb exploded and I don't know how big a bulb replaces it. I bought a 25-watt bulb, but that's too big and round. Hello Rosetta! I'm betting your size of the bulb you need is 20 watts. There are only three possible bulb sizes used for most Scentsy heaters. The biggest one is a 25 watt bulb and that bulb is round. So, there's another round bulb, but it's 20 watts. The last light bulb is only for night-light heaters and is a cone bulb, 15 watts. Again, that is only for small heaters that connect directly to a wall output. If you haven't seen it yet, try to take a look at our page and you'll see the pictures showing you different options. Oh, I almost forgot to tell you, there's a Scentsy bulb more, but it's a 40 Watt Edison bulb. At this time, that bulb only works on one or two old time themed heaters. What a strong fragrance I can't smell mine. He's pretty strong, but there are many others. Seriously, it's a matter of personal taste. Just your nose, he really knows! Do I need to put a sidewalk under my hottest if it's on a wooden surface? I don't think so because I've had my full-size odor heater in a wooden closet for a couple of months and there have been no marks or burns. Do I have to put a wax candle on my Candle Wax Warmer or can I use it as a night light? I know the dish will warm up, but I'd burn if there's no candle in it? Thank you. Hi, Maria. Sometimes we use our smell heaters like nightlight, no wax and no problems. Yes, the dish will still warm up so always use caution, with or without wax. For safety purposes, always treat your heaters like you would make an electric lamp or desk light. The light bulb or heating element can make the hottest rather hot, like a lamp. I guess the only exception would be if you are using one of our new Scentsy battery heaters operated. These work a little different and do not heat like a heater that uses a cord or plugs directly into an output. I got the gnome wax burner. Do I leave your hat (top) while burning the wax melts. Or take it off? Thank you. Hi. Cindy, yes, you can leave the hat on or off. Either way it'll work well. The hot plate in my smell heater has begun to peal for some unknown reason I'm not sure, I just want to know if I can still use it once you've started to sin or will cause some problems that isn't even a year old yet If you're talking about the hottest dish peeling, we haven't seen that specific problem so you can't really comment accurately. Typically, the warmest dishes of aroma are made of ceramic or glass. If there's a finish on the top that's running out, I don't see why I wouldn't be able to continue using the hottest. I have a smell heater every main room in my house. (6 in total). And I'm finding that my house is not smelling as much as when I used the bathroom and the body works candles. I'd burn 3 candles for three hours and my whole house would smell for 6-7 hours. I put two cubes in my big and one and a half heaters in my smaller ones. I also have two plug-ins and put a bucket on each one. I like to keep my house between 68 and 70°. Am I doing something wrong? I just invested $700 in heaters and wax and I'm not very happy with the results. I spent a small fortune on heaters and waxes too. I have two in my kitchen and two in my family room. I put two waxes of the same smell on each hotter but he really smelled it the first day. My heaters are in opposite ends of each room with ceiling fans and that doesn't even help. I also have a plug in my entrance that seems to disperse the smell quite well. There is a full size in my bedroom, which is a smaller room compared, and the best wax in it is Shimmer as well as Shimmer in my bathroom. That smells good. Even Mystery Man and Solar Driftwood and Bergamot is a disappointmentI'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with the strength of fragrances. Honestly, it sounds like you're doing everything you can, so I guess part of the problem is the AC. As you know, the air conditioning keeps the air circulating and filters the air of return through a filter while it circulates. Some of these filters are quite restrictive, so I'm thinking it's contributing to the problem. However, our noses get used to smelling the same fragrances. Sometimes we think it's time to change the wax but later determine that we were wrong. We found, if we leave the house for a while, when we get back, we can still reduce the fragrances all over the house. In addition, often the best fragrances are quite subtle and our visitors always comment on how big the house always smells. I have a scentsy warmer plug and I wonder why the in part plug can be changed so that the earth plug is at the top? I have "outside" outputs and the floor is at the top, but my warmest will not work in that position. What am I doing wrong? Once again, we did not receive our notifications, so we apologized for being so late with the answers. Take a look at the video in this post and my husband shows how to adjust the warmest plug to be up or down. I'm looking for a replacement heating element for my pineapple wax burner, I hope you can help me. Hi Joni, itching elements cannot be replaced. If you have a heater that uses a lighthouse, of course the bulbs can be replaced but if it is a warmer element, you are out of luck. Sorry: (Can you put essential oils directly into the hottest? I'm sorry, I know these feedback responses are late, but we were having issues on the website and we didn't receive our notifications. You probably figured it out, the heaters use the smell wax, not the oils. We just added a video created by Scentsy so you can check this out to find more. Thank you so much for providing these tips. I bought a heater from you for a Christmas present and my daughter loved it! Thank you, Sandra! I got involved in selling Scentsy just because I always loved the perfumed candles. I used to have Salt City candles everywhere. I was never a fan of the Yankee candles. Anyway, it's never been for money and I've been a consultant since 2008. Once I discovered this safest wax to enjoy scenic wax, I feel it was worth sharing. I've always liked to share my experiences with others. I have a smell in every room of my house(6 in total). I check my favorites when they're on sale and I keep them for gifts. I love them. When the waxes lose most of the fragrance I take it and put the waxes in my drawers. It makes everything smell good. Hey, Josie, that's a good idea about putting the left wax in drawers. I often put the wax used in the bathroom trash cans, which gives a little added fragrance where it is most needed:)How much cleaning do I need for the wax heater? Can I put it on my kitchen counter w cabinets upstairs? Hi, Christina. Yes, I have two heaters in my kitchen that sit at the top of the counter and under the top cabinets. As for cleaning, as long as you have enough space to access the dish to remove and replace the perfumed wax, you should be good. If you are worried about the heat of the bulb or light bulb, what I suggest to all is, treat your heaters like you would make an electric lamp. If you're not comfortable with the little heat, go with one of ours. Should I leave the lid on when I'm using my hottest Scentsy? Although it may depend on the exact heater, you can usually leave the lid on or off. I have a 25 watt bulb that came with my electric white ceramic kitchen pitcher Senstsy melter. Every time I plug it smells like something that's overheating. It's normal or I should have come with another Bulb. Thank you. Hi Linds, if you bought the Scentsy Lemonade Pitcher Warmer, the 25 watt bulb is the right stage for that heater. However, there should be no smell of overheating. In our house we treat all our traditional table-type heaters as we make any table lamps. The bulbs generate heat and get pretty hot, like a 25 watt bulb in a lamp. Make sure your heater doesn't touch anything on the sides. In addition, the double check is not on the plastic inside the hottest one next to the bulb. Once, I forgot to remove the plastic from my bulb and, of course, we had a small cast plastic and we had to replace the bulb. I'm new to Scentsy and I have what can be a very foolish question. If you have multiple heaters throughout the house, do you use the same fragrance in all of them? Is it too much sensory overload to have different fragrances? Hi, I also use multiples in my house and yes, I often use different fragrances, however, I usually try to keep the same fragrances down and then maybe something different up. Also, if I have a closed room that can also be different. How many square images will cover a full-size heater? I'm not exactly sure how to respond to this one. It really depends on the conditions within the home. For example, a 300-square-foot room could have very high vaulted ceilings and another can have low ceilings, 8t. It also depends on your ventilation. There are too many factors and we really suggest proof. Yes, it starts with a full-size traditional wax heater. If it is a large room you can try with 2 or 3 wax cubes and see how it goes. We keep a heater in our living room and one in our office. Then one in each bathroom and bedroom. Leave a comment

How to get the most out of your Scentsy Bar Wax Melts Originally created this tip sheet for my Scentsy customers, to help ensure they had the best experience with their new Scentsy Bars. After hearing so many stories from other people either using or storing their Bars incorrectly, however, I decided to release this for the benefit of all. The following tips will help you get the most out of your Scentsy Bars at home: Tip #1: You can reuse Scentsy Bar Wax One of the great things about Scentsy Bars is that they are reusable! After breaking and melting your wax in your Scentsy Warmer, you can let that fragrance stay in the Warmer or you can pour it back into the original container for future use (while still melted). The odor wax is designed to be heated several times, releasing more of the medium and base notes while melting for longer periods of time. For more information about these notes and how they work together to create a full-scent experience, check out from Scentsy. Tip #2: Scentsy Bar scents There are many variables when it comes to how strong a Scentsy Bar fragrance is, and how long it will last. Try to get away from fans, heaters or open windows. The size of the room, humidity and floor plan could make the difference in its fragrance. Mini Warmers are the best used in a small area like a bathroom or hallway. Full-sized Warmers are recommended for larger rooms and areas. It is highly recommended that you specifically use a Scentsy Warmer to found Scentsy Bars because of the oil-based wax that are made of. Our Bars normally contain 2-3x the amount of fragrance oils on another wax and are designed to melt at temperatures below the standard wax. As such, while you can melt our wax in other Warmers, you will likely find that it passes through the faster odor due to the higher temperature/heat. Also, if you try to melt standard wax in our Warmers Scentsy, it is likely to take a lot longer to melt as our Warmers are designed to heat at lower temperatures. That's why you can leave our Warmers in 24 hours, as you would with a standard lamp without fear of overheating. It's also why our wax, once melted, will never get warm enough to burn your skin if it was touched or hit. What a relief! If you like a more subtle fragrance experience, then I recommend using only 1-2 cubes at a time per dish. If you like a stronger fragrance like me, then you can place 3+ buckets on a plate (with the exception Mini Warmers). Most of the newest Scentsy Warmer dishes will list a recommended number of wax cubes on it (see photo below). There is really no right or wrong way, it is really a personal preference about how you enjoy Scentsy bars. Tip #3: How to properly store odor bars The way you store your Scentsy Bars can affect the character, duration and performance of the fragrance. You can extend the useful life of your Scentsy Bars and help maintain the correct strength of the fragrance by properly storing. This includes:Find a cool and dark storage area, like a closet that is far from direct sunlight. Place the Scentsy Bar flat or stacked on top of each other; do not store directly. Keep them away from heat sources such as kitchen, utility room, bathroom or above appliances. Don't go in your car for long periods of time! Using your old Bars first. Tip #4: Cleaning of the heaters It is important to clean your dishes every time you change your wax, even if you put new buckets of the same smell as before. NEVER mixes new wax with old wax like this simply dilutes and weakens the strength of fragrance. Take a look at my short video showing you the best 3 ways to clean your wax: The first covered, the cotton ball method, is hands down my favorite - so easy! Tip #5: How to save money on odour bars Apart from applying all the tips mentioned above, you can save even more money on the products you love. The more you buy, the more you save, with our biggest seller being buy 5, go on a free deal! When you are aware of how many waxes you regularly melt, I can help you figure out how to place the right orders at the right time to save more money. We even have a free one that allows you to automate your orders, with additional advantages including free or reduced shipping (based on the total order), Always Get My Bar (even if a discontinuous smell) and Scentsy Bricks! There you go, all the tips and tricks you need to maximize your smellless candle experience! Feel free to share this blog with others. Do you still have questions or concerns?
